Rick joined the Moose Cree Group of Companies following an extensive career in forestry, pulp/paper and hydro development. Rick is a graduate of Labour Relations from Confederation College and worked in the forestry, pulp and paper industries across northeastern Ontario. He then joined Ontario Power Generation as a member of the construction team on the Lower Mattagami River Project overseeing labour and aboriginal relations. In 2013, he joined the Moose Cree Group of Companies with the mandate to grow and diversify the company.
Today the company is made up of 7 different limited partnerships in the forestry, tourism, construction, mining, real estate and hospitality sectors.

David Ristimaki

David joined the group of companies in 2017 as the Director of Finance. He is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a BA in Economics. David is tasked with overseeing all the financial activities of the group of companies. David comes with a number of years of experience in accounting, auditing, forestry, mining , real estate and various boards and has proven to be a positive asset to meet the financial objectives of the company.

3 Nations Logging LP and CS Enterprises LP
Ian joined Moose Cree Group of Companies in 2010 for the forestry operations of CS Enterprises as well as the development and creation of 3 Nations Logging. As a graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming and Algonquin College obtaining a certificate as a Forest Technician, Licensed Scaler, and certified compliance inspector.
Ian’s 20 + years, experience within the forest industry has come from his time spent in the North working for various sawmills & the MNRF. He has been involved with the forest management planning and construction for both companies. As Operations Manager, he is accountable to manage all aspects of wood fiber for deliveries to area sawmills in Northeastern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec.

Peter W. Wesley
Director of Properties Management
Complex RE LP
Peter is the Director of Properties Management of Complex RE Limited Partnership based in Moose Factory, Ontario. He was born and raised in Moose Factory and continues to live there with his family. He has had the privilege of serving the membership of Moose Cree First Nation (MCFN) for approximately 11 years as a councillor. During his term he also had the opportunity of sitting on various Boards and Committees representing the MCFN Chief & Council. This has helped him both personally and professionally; allowing him insight into the many issues facing the First Nation and its people. Peter also enjoyed a varied work history from construction to holding Senior Management positions in various companies. He was the Acting General Manager for the Moose Band Development Company for about three years and is capable of assisting in advancing the economic opportunities for the membership.

Patrick McEniry

Kesagami Wilderness Lodge
Patrick recently took over the management position at Kesagami Wilderness lodge. He has been working at the lodge for 11 years now and worked alongside Charlie Macdonald, the previous manager.
He has guided many Television shows through the years such as The New Fly Fisher, Great Lakes Fisherman's Digest and Extreme Angler. In the offseason Patrick is a Foreman for a communications company that builds cell phone towers and installs cellular equipment.

John Delean, Manager/Chief Pilot of Cochrane Air Services LP. has been bush flying for over 35 years with 15,000 plus hours accident free. As an avid fisherman and hunter John has a very good appreciation of what the customers are looking for. John manages in excess of 30 different locations which provide customers from across North America with a trip of a lifetime within a 7,000 sq km protected area. Cochrane Air has catered to a number of fishing professionals from across Canada and the United States.

Jay Dodiya

Super 8 Moose River Inn & Suites LP
Jay joined the company in 2020, while the Super 8 hotel was under construction in Moosonee. Prior to this, Jay completed a 4 year degree in hotel management before starting his long career in hospitality. He started his profession in England working the hotel restaurant. Than accepted a transfer to The United States working as a Banquet Supervisor and Banquet Manager at Zermatt Report and Spa – a 650 room resort. His career moved him to General Manager at Wyndam Group in Utah. Later, Jay’s ambitions migrated him North to Cochrane where he was the General Manager at Thriftlodge, before finally settling down as the manager of Travelodge in Cochrane.
